All About Sports in Parkland

Parkland is the place for almost any sport. With the parks full of fields and courts, and Florida’s beautiful weather year-round, there are sports activities going on all the time. From recreational to league play, there is something for all ages and levels. Baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, cheer and more are offered throughout Parkland. 

Sports leagues are run through area organizations and offer top-notch team play. The Parkland Rangers Football, for example, is affiliated with the nationally renowned Pop Warner Youth Football. Each sports league holds their own sign-ups, so it is best to check with each one on how and when to sign your players up. 

Children as young as four can partake in sports leagues. The P-Rec also offers a slate of classes for all ages. Travel and select leagues are available for the more advanced and competitive players. Additionally, the Parkland Buddy Sports program has a “No Limits” program where children and young adults with special needs are paired with teenage volunteers to play soccer, tennis, golf, basketball, and more.
