Parklands Largest Parks

Parkland is known for its beautiful parks. While there are lots of active and passive parks throughout the city, the three major ones are Terramar Park, Pine Trails Park, and Liberty Park. Whether residents are looking for sports leagues, playgrounds, or a place for a birthday party, Parkland’s parks offer great places for family fun. 

Terramar Park on the eastern side of Parkland, is currently completing an expansion. Terramar Park is one of Parkland’s first parks and it hosts many fields, pavilions, two playgrounds, basketball courts, pickleball courts, and more. Winding pathways are great for walking, jogging, and biking. On any given weekend or evening, there are families out cheering on their kids at sporting games or friends playing pickup basketball games. Liberty Park celebrates a community that came together to build a park through the Build-A-Park initiative. From conception to completion, residents worked tirelessly to plan and fundraise to make this beautiful and unique park a reality. Seven beautiful acres feature interactive play equipment for all ages. The two wooden playgrounds have forts, slides. and a variety of climbing areas. The water play area is a favorite, especially on a hot summer day. A large pavilion is available for rental for birthday parties and events. Liberty Park is located at 9200 Ranch Road, Parkland, 33067.

Pine Trails Park, located on the western side of Parkland, is the newest and the largest of the three large parks. It is also home of P-Rec, the community center with lots of classes, camps, and activities. An outdoor amphitheater hosts musical events. There are five multi-purpose sports fields, a fishing pier, and an interactive playground with a NEOS interactive play system. Winding paths are great for walking and jogging with stops along the way to enhance fitness with the Life Trails equipment system. Special events are held throughout the year.
