Things To Do in Parkland

There is never a shortage of events and activities in the City of Parkland. Between the parks, the library, the P-Rec, and the amphitheater, there are so many fun things to do. Music, arts, sports, movie nights, and holiday events are open to the community and bring neighbors together for some hometown fun. 

The Farmer’s Market, held on the third Sunday of each month from November to April at the Equestrian Center is a well-attended event where vendors sell fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, pastries, honey, and more. Craft and health fairs are also integrated into selected dates of The Farmer’s Market. The Pine Trails Park Amphitheater and Pine Trails Park also has a full-slate of family events including Movies in the Park, the Fishing Derby, the Parkland Dash, and more. An annual Splash Bash, Pumpkin Patch, and Halloween Festival are also fall favorites around town.

The Eggstravaganza at Terramar Park is full of springtime fun with its egg hunt and visits from the Easter Bunny. For the winter holidays, there is the Light Up the Park event with live entertainment, ugly sweater contests, and food trucks as well as Snowfest, featuring snow slides (with real snow), mounds of snow to play in, and food vendors. In January, the Family Fun Fest Carnival is a weekend filled with live music, carnival rides, games, and fun food.
